Kate has over 20 years of nursing experience, including trauma, obstetrics, surgery, pediatrics, and integrative medicine. She obtained her master’s degree from Georgetown University in 2014 and has worked in pre-operative medicine/anesthesia, holistic and integrative mental health, psychedelic medicine, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Kate has pursued extensive post-master’s studies in nutrition, biochemistry, and functional medicine. She approaches each patient encounter from a holistic sense, one that treats the whole person, and is certified in energy healing as both a Qi-Gong practitioner and a Reiki Master. Kate’s passions include the gut/brain axis, mind/body medicine, somatic bodywork, autism spectrum disorders, women’s health/post-partum support, and the healing power of sound/music. She has worked in integrative psychiatry for the last four years, using ketamine as a tool for powerful transformation. Kate sees psychedelics as a bridge between eastern and western philosophies and is passionate about raising awareness and ending stigmas associated with psychedelic use.
